(01) — Our story

Nine years, seven people, one street in Lisbon.

2016

A spare room in Graça

Inês leaves a London agency, moves home to Lisbon and starts Cozova with two clients and one very old laptop.

2018

The first ferry

Atlas Ferries trusts a three-person studio with their whole identity. Tomás joins to draw the wordmark.

2020

Rua da Rosa

We move into a former print shop with tall windows, a long table and terrible Wi-Fi. We stay anyway.

2023

Prices, in public

We publish our fees and our process. Fewer awkward calls, better-matched clients, calmer weeks.

2026

Seven people, sixty-four launches

Still small on purpose. Still answering every email ourselves.

Listen first.

Two weeks of questions before a single sketch. The brief is the most important thing we design.

Say less.

One idea, argued well. We cut until what’s left can’t be removed.

Make it last.

We design for the brand you’ll be in ten years, not the trend you’ll regret in two.

Every project includes three months of support. Most clients stay for years.
